Virtue April Gathering
If you're a woman between the ages of 15-25 and you're looking for mentorship to lead a Christian life in today's society, then you're in the right place.
On the last Sunday of each month, Virtue meets for a time of fun and fellowship as we share truth and insight to help us stand firm as young women of faith in a secular world. We start the evening with food and an activity, before breaking into small groups for discussion and mentorship.
We invite you to join us and be a part of our community.
Men’s Campfire
You're not designed to go to battle alone.
Come to the campfire on the third Friday of every month to join other men and gatherings.
Dinner starts at 7 pm, followed by a series of talks on the power of God that can be harnessed within a man of God, beginning at 8 pm. Don’t forget to bring your own meal (meat, sides, drinks, utensils, etc.) to grill for dinner!

Compassion Sunday
Let’s show children living in poverty what it means to be loved with actions and in truth!
Your voice is the one that will connect more children to the local church through sponsorship. You can live out 1 John 3:18, loving with actions and in truth, by giving more children the chance to thrive!

Learn the basics of brush calligraphy and watercolor with local artist, Alisa Taylor.

This event is a great time of fun and fellowship while playing board games on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month.

Crafty Club
Are you a crafter? Do you love the idea of crafting, but don't know where to begin?
We welcome all to join us each Thursday from 9AM - 4PM at The Rock Church, Video Venues. This is a wonderful time of fellowship, mentorship, and creativity. Bring a craft OR come learn a new one!
The proceeds of all crafts made and sold go to support outreach opportunities hosted by The Rock Church.
Mechanic Monday
Mechanics Monday is an incredible opportunity for young men (11-18 years old) to gain hands-on experience with how cars work - and all while doing something good!
Mechanics Monday meets every week on Mondays from 6 to 8 PM at The Rock Church Bay (east side of building), where they use their skills to restore vehicles as part of this ministry.

New Life Baby Bottle Campaign
Join us in our Baby Bottle Campaign to support New Life Pregnancy Center.
Fill a baby bottle with any spare change you may have. All funds raised stay locally to help support the nearest New Life Pregnancy Center. Your support enables NLPC to provide free pregnancy tests, counseling, parenting classes, ultrasounds, Bible Studies and material assistance such as diapers and clothing.

Voice of the Martyr - "I am N"
The Voice of the Martyrs presents I Am N – a virtual event where you’ll hear updates on Iraq and firsthand stories from three Christians who have paid the price for advancing the gospel in other places dominated by Islam. Hear these inspiring testimonies of costly faith, plus worship from Steven Curtis Chapman.
This special event is FREE and will be hosted virtually at The Rock Church!
Easter Blessing Bags

Sign-Up to help fill our Blessing Bags. All donations are due by March 22nd in order for our Blessing Bags to be ready by Easter Sunday.

Valentine’s Day Dinner
Join us for a night of fun, fellowship, and food in which we celebrate the love that we have so graciously received (1 John 4:19).
The menu will consist of tri-tip and chicken, mashed potatoes with mushroom sauce, steamed vegetables, a green salad, and a roll, with a variety of desserts to follow.

Baby Dedications and Baptisms
Join us as we celebrate these important milestones together!
Baby Dedications: Dedicate your child to the Lord during our 9:00 AM service. Registration is open for children between birth and age 10.
Baptisms: Being baptized is a public declaration of your decision to make Jesus Lord and Saviour of your life. Registration is open for baptisms, which will be held during our second service at 10:30 AM.
New Member Class
We’re excited to have you consider The Rock Church, where you want to belong. Our Membership Class is the place to go to hear about what we believe God is up to in the world and what He is doing at The Rock Church, and it also provides us an opportunity to get to know you and your story.
We want to honor your time, so please REGISTER and complete your lunch order.
The class will last for two and a half hours and will consist of a time to learn about the story of The Rock and meet our Leadership team and ministry leaders.
After the class, you will be asked to stop by the Connect Center (lobby), turn in your class form, and affirm that you want to join our Rock Pile! If you are NOT ready, we would love to know this too.
Rock ‘N Glow Run
Run into the New Year with the Rock Church, the City of Yuma, and KCFY. The 5K Run will start at 10 pm, and festivities will carry us into the New Year.
Christmas Service
Join us for a wonderful time of joy & worship! Enjoy this time of fellowship as we celebrate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, the long-awaited Messiah and King.
Christmas Services will be held on December 24th only at 9AM and 10:30AM.
Believe Ladies Christmas Gathering
Come join us for our annual TRC Women's Christmas Celebration with the theme "Believe" in the TRC Lobby.
We will kick off Believe in honor of our little warrior, Maverick. “Maverick’s Joy” is an outreach program to support parents who need the joy of Jesus during their hospital stay.
You can enjoy delicious soups, salads, charcuterie boards, desserts, and lots of fellowship, laughter, and love. Please bring a wrapped $5.00 Christmas ornament to add to the fun and excitement of the celebration.
The event is free, but you need to REGISTER.
The Season of Advent
Advent is a four-week season of anticipation for the arrival of Jesus of Nazareth, the long-awaited Messiah and King. Advent is observed from December 3rd to December 24th, taking place on the four Sundays that lead up to Christmas Day. It is a time filled with reflections on hope, peace, love, and joy.
Join us each Sunday in December at 9AM and 10:30AM to celebrate the arrival of Jesus and join together in the hope of his ultimate return.
Thanksgiving at The Rock
Are you feeling lonely and homesick this Thanksgiving?
If you are unable to spend this special day with your loved ones, don't worry! Our potluck celebration is the perfect opportunity for you to make new friends and feel the warmth of a loving community. Join us for supper and some heartfelt fellowship, and let's come together to make this holiday special, a Thanksgiving to remember.
We are looking forward to sharing the day with you. We are asking for a $5 donation to help pay for the turkey, and if you can bring a side dish to share, that would be great. Once you REGISTER, we will send you a link for a side dish to bring.
TRC Giving Tree
Spread some Christmas cheer with TRC's Giving Tree.
This outreach opportunity is a blessing for local children in need! Between November 12th and December 1st, pick up a tag (or two) from the Giving Tree, and return the gift card to TRC. Monetary donations are also accepted.
This is a great outreach to do together as a family!
Rock Round-Up Cowboy Breakfast
Join us for a Cowboy Breakfast and Petting Zoo to kick off the Rock Round-Up.
A delicious Cowboy Breakfast will be served before and after service, and face painting and a petting zoo will provide fun for the entire family. Feed the animals in the petting zoo for $1.
This event will help support our annual Rock Round-Up, which raises money to help Samaritan’s Purse purchase farm animals and bees to give to families in developing countries as a sustainable income. With God’s blessing, our goal this year is to raise $8000 to help lift people around the world out of poverty and to share the gospel.
Men's Ministry - Fishing Prep at the PAAC
Join us at 7:00 AM at the Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex (PAAC) for line casting and fly fishing instructions. Fellowship will be ongoing throughout the event, and mentors from The Rock Church will also be present to guide and instruct.
As space is limited, please SIGN UP before October 7th to reserve your spot. Bring your fishing rod, lures, and flies if you have them. Water will be provided, but make sure to eat breakfast beforehand!
Remember to bring a hat and sunscreen for protection from the sun. Fathers are encouraged to attend, but absent fathers can seek assistance from the available mentors. Please note that the instruction is only for children aged ten and above. If your son is younger than 10, you must accompany and mentor him during the event.
Hot dogs will be served from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM before departure for the day.
Pastor Appreciation Month
Pastor appreciation is a time to express gratitude and honor the work and dedication of pastors and spiritual leaders. It is an opportunity for congregations and communities to show their appreciation for the spiritual guidance, counseling, teaching, and support provided by pastors.
Here are a few ways you can show appreciation for your pastor:
1. Express gratitude: Take the time to personally thank your pastor for their service and the impact they have had on your life. A heartfelt note or verbal expression of gratitude can go a long way.
2. Pray for them: Lift up your pastor in prayer regularly. Pray for their spiritual strength, wisdom, guidance, and protection.
3. Support their ministry: Find ways to actively support your pastor's ministry. Offer your time, skills, or resources to help with various church activities or initiatives.
4. Encourage others: Share positive stories and experiences you have had with your pastor to encourage others to appreciate their work. Spread the word about your pastor's impact on social media or within your community.
5. Celebrate milestones: Recognize significant milestones in your pastor's service, such as ordination anniversaries or years of ministry. Plan a special event or service to honor their dedication and commitment.
6. Provide rest and support: Recognize that pastors often have demanding schedules and responsibilities. Encourage your pastor to take time off for rest and rejuvenation. Offer to help with tasks or provide support when they need it.
Remember, pastor appreciation is not limited to a specific time or day. It should be an ongoing practice to support and uplift your pastor throughout the year.
Let's make this month special for our pastor by expressing our gratitude. Write a note of encouragement and drop it in our special mailbox at the Connect Counter for your pastor.

Heather Mercer | Author, Speaker, Founder of Global Hope
